We have a USB 3 Hub, but XR50 sensor only support USB 2, however, we want to keep the same form factor (12 Pin connector and ribbon) like the other sensor adapters, so here we have this adapter, connect the ribbon from one of USB 3 hub's downstream port (12 Pin connector), and other side with micro USB connector connect to XR 50 sensor. 

With such a connection, XR50 will be working on only USB 2 interface via the USB 3 Hub board, with it's full speed and feature, other sensors will work on USB 3 super speed, to make sure every sensor that connects to the USB 3 Hub can work with their highest speed without getting bandwidth issue.
